Foreign media poll: 93% of users won’t subscribe to YouTube Premium because they’re out of Vanced!

19/03/2022

YouTube Vanced is a must-have for those who hate YouTube ads, but earlier this month, YouTube Vanced was forced to shut down by Google, so now YouTube Vanced is in the countdown.

In response, foreign media outlet Android Authority conducted a poll asking current YouTube Vanced users if they would pay to use YouTube Premium to reduce ads. The poll attracted 9,500 readers, and the result was that 93% of them would not sign up for YouTube Premium!

The vast majority of users said they would use other platforms to watch ad-free YouTube content if YouTube Vanced ever became unavailable. But if they are asked to subscribe to YouTube Premium by paying for it, I am sorry to say that they cannot do it.

Many users who participated in the voting said that YouTube Premium is not better than YouTube Vanced in terms of features, so why should we pay to use it? Some users even said that it is YouTube that makes money by subscribing to YouTube Premium, not the creators themselves. Also, YouTube makes more money from ads than the creators, so it’s not worth it to support YouTube.

Anyway, with YouTube Vanced stopped, it’s time for those who don’t want to watch ads to start looking for a second way to watch YouTube!
