Want to start filing online but don’t have an online tax filing account (e-Filing)? Want to change your tax information, but don’t have an online tax account? Now you can go online to register for an online tax account and get the Nombor Pin required to register for the account.
Malaysians are required to visit the Inland Revenue Department (LHDN) to obtain a Nombor Pin before filing their tax returns online, or if you do not want to obtain a Nombor Pin from the LHDN, you can choose to obtain one online.
According to the information issued by the LHDN, people can request a Nombor Pin online to register for an online tax filing account.
Here is a simple guide on how to request a Nombor Pin for your tax account online.
Step 1: Go to https://maklumbalaspelanggan.hasil.gov.my/MaklumBalas/ms-MY/CustFeed-1.aspx?cat=Permohonan
and click on Permohonan Nombor Pin in the left column.
Step 2: Read in detail the conditions and methods to apply for Nombor Pin and download the required Borang.
Step 3: Click on Seterusnya.
Step 4: Fill out the form such as name, ID number, email, phone number, etc. and attach the required Borang and copy of ID.
Step 5: Fill out the form and click Submit.
Step 6: After that you will get the 16-digit Nombor Pin.
Step 7: Visit https://ez.hasil.gov.my/CI/LoginKaliPertama.aspx and fill in the Nombor Pin and ID number to register for an online tax account.
Step 8: Fill in the required information and click on Setuju.
Step 9: Follow the instructions to complete the registration for an online tax account.
Step 10: Visit https://ez.hasil.gov.my/CI/Login.aspx and login to your tax account again, you can start filing your tax return or change your personal information.
