The Malaysian government has allowed people to travel across states and countries on October 11, and it is likely that more people will be flying to their destinations at the airport in the coming days. Transportation Minister Wai Ka Hung said the event will be held on a weekend in November and announced by ERL on its social media platforms.
“When the time comes, bring along your family members and friends, and support our nation’s recovery,” Wee Ka Siong said during a launch event on KLIA Ekspres’ Facebook Live page.
ERL also launched its upgraded KLIA Ekspres app, which allows customers to buy tickets easily and find better deals.
It also launched its EkspreSmiles loyalty programme, which rewards customers with points for every successful booking which they can redeem for discounts on future purchases.
Wee Ka Siong encourages people to take public transportation to go out or travel in a more environmentally friendly way to reduce carbon emissions from transportation and reduce pollution.
