KWSP is approving withdrawal applications from members one after another, but members are urged to be patient!
The Employees Provident Fund Board (KWSP) has opened applications for the Special Withdrawal Scheme (Pengeluaran Khas) since April 1. KWSP was originally scheduled to disburse funds to successful applicants from April 20, but has now announced an earlier date of April 18.
Many members are complaining that the status of their application remains at PERMOHONAN ANDA TELAH DITERIMA with a purple background, which means that the application has been successfully submitted and is still being processed.
According to KWSP, over 5.3 million withdrawal requests have been received as at April 14. Withdrawals will be approved as long as there are sufficient funds in the member’s EPF account.
