EPF payout has been remitted to the account, you can check how much payout you got!

Members can check how much dividend they have received as the EPF payout has been credited to their accounts.

The Employees Provident Fund Board (KWSP) announced a 6.10% payout for Conventional EPF and a 5.65% payout for Islamic EPF on March 2.

The Employees Provident Fund Board was scheduled to open i-Akaun from 12 midnight on March 6 for members to check how much dividend they have received, but now the Board has opened i-Akaun earlier on the evening of March 5, which means that the dividend has already been remitted to members’ accounts.

EPF members can check the status of their deposits through the i-Akaun online account of the Employees Provident Fund Board by opening the i-Akaun APP, and then you can see the amount of dividends received on the home page. You can also click on View Transaction History to view detailed information on deposits and dividends.

Note that the total amount of deposits shown on the home page is as of March 5, 2022, while the total amount of deposits viewed in the 2021 section of View Transaction History is as of December 31, 2021.

I believe many people will try to calculate the interest they can earn, but no matter how they calculate it, they can’t get it right, so how exactly is the interest of EPF calculated? Actually, the interest payout of EPF is calculated on a daily basis, not on an annual basis. The EPF Board uses a computer program to calculate it, so if you calculate it manually by yourself, it will be a very laborious and unpleasant task.

The EPF Board also updates the transaction records of members in January and February, such as the monthly contribution amount, dividend payout amount and withdrawal amount.
