EPF members can invest in over 202 funds with their EPF deposits!
The KWSP launched i-Invest, an online self-service portal. Members can invest in qualified funds using the funds in their initial account (Akaun 1). i-Invest provides members with greater flexibility, functionality, and convenience by allowing them to invest, trade, and monitor unit trust investments from anywhere at any time.
There will be 202 qualified funds to choose from as of April 1, 2022, and 19 fund management organisations will offer the 202 eligible funds. There are 117 equities funds, 45 mixed asset funds, 20 bond funds, and 20 money market funds among them.
Since its launch in September 2019, i-Invest has recorded a total of 168,652 transactions worth RM1.69 billion as of December 31, 2021. Members under the age of 55 can invest straight from their first account deposit, with a sales charge of 0 percent to 0.5 percent applied to the transaction amount.
All deposits in the Akaun Emas account can be used for investment by members aged 55 and up, but a minimum of RM1,000 must be held in the account.
