EPF members can now buy up to 8 trust funds when using the i-invest online investment tool platform.
i-Invest is an online investment tool platform launched by the KWSP that allows members to use their EPF savings to invest and receive a variable return.Currently, KWSP has partnered with 10 fund administrators and members can invest in these fund platforms through i-Invest.
Previously, members could only purchase multiple trust funds from single fund administrator in single transaction, but now the KWSP has opened up the possibility for members to purchase trust funds from 5 fund administrators in a single transaction. The aim of this initiative is to enhance investment opportunities and efficiency for members.
To use your EPF savings for investment, you must meet certain criteria such as your first account deposit must match the amount of your age group, for example, a member aged 22 must have at least RM10,000 in their first account, a member aged 25 must have RM18,000 in their first account and so on.
Interested members can log in to their KWSP i-Akaun and then find i-Invest and follow the instructions to invest.
