If you received BPR, BKC, or GKP last year, and you do not need to reapply or update your information, then you will be automatically included in the list of BKM this year.
If you did not receive the BPR, BKC, or GKP aid from the government last year, then you need to reapply. If your information is changed, you just need to update the information.
If you are a new applicant or want to change your personal information, you can apply and change your information from January 1 to January 31.
People who want to change their information can browse https://bkm.hasil.gov.my/ and click LOG MASUK BKM. Then log in to your account and select Kemaskini Permohonan.
For new applicants, you can click Permohonan Baharu directly on the homepage of the BKM website. After you enter your ID number, the system will ask you to fill in the application form. You need to fill in the occupation, income, marital status, address, mobile phone number, zip code, city, bank account information. Then upload the required additional documents, as well as the beneficiary/representative information.
In the occupation (Pekerjaan) column, if you are a civil servant you can choose Kerajaan, if you are working in the private sector, you can choose Swasta, self-employed people can choose Bekerja Sendiri, unemployed or unemployed people can choose Tidak Bekerja. In the monthly salary (Pendapatan Kasar Bulanan Isi Rumah) column, you need to manually enter your monthly salary information.
In the column of marriage status, married people can choose Kahwin, divorced people can choose Cerai, widowed people can choose Kematian Pasangan, and single people can choose Bujang. If you are married or divorced, then you need to fill in the date of marital status (Tarikh Status Kahwin). Married persons need to fill in the date of marriage, and divorced persons need to fill in the date of divorce.
When choosing the bank account name (Nama Bank Pemohon), Maybank’s full name is Malayan Banking Berhad, and those without a bank account can choose Tiada Maklumat Akaun Bank.
When selecting additional files, you need to upload files related to you. For example, if you are married, you need to upload a marriage certificate, while a divorced person needs to upload a divorce certificate. If a child over 18 is a full-time student, then the child’s student ID can also be uploaded. Bankrupts can upload bankruptcy documents.
In the beneficiary/representative profile (Maklumat Wakil), you can choose Ada Wakil, Tiada Wakil or Maklumat Sama Seperti Pasangan. If you choose Ada Wakil, then you need to fill in the information of the beneficiary/representative. In the Hubungan column, Pasangan is the spouse, Ibu/Bapa is the parents, Anak is the child, Adik-beradik is the sibling, and Cucu is the grandson. Choosing Maklumat Sama Seperti Pasangan means that the information is the same as that of the spouse.
