It seems difficult, but easy to make! You only need to prepare the ingredients and sauce, and you’ll be able to have army stew!

On a rainy or cloudy day, whether it’s just after work or work from home, the workers should be worried about “what to eat”, right? When you go out to pack, you need to hold an umbrella and wear a mask; at home, besides fried rice, it is cup noodles. If you work hard all day, you deserve a better meal! Today, I’d like to recommend a super easy dish that you can easily prepare at home, which is army stew (budae jjigae)!

All you have to do is cut up all the ingredients you want, line them up, take a few seconds to make a sauce, fire it up, boil it, and you’re good to go!

▼ Ingredients:

  • Cheese-flavored army pot ramen (can also be substituted with simmered noodles + cheese powder)
  • Spam
  • Crab stick
  • Enoki mushroom
  • Fish tofu
  • Pork roll
  • Cheese rice cake
  • Tofu
  • Cabbage

*The ingredients actually have different opinions, you can put whatever you want!*

▼ Sauce

  • 1 package ramen seasoning package
  • 2 scoops of Korean hot sauce
  • 1 spoon light soy sauce
  • 1/2 spoon chili powder
  • 1 scoop of cooking wine
  • 1 spoon of sugar

▼ Steps:

  1. Spread a layer of cabbage in the pot (you can sauté with butter if you have time, and omit it if you want to eat it in a hurry).
  2. Put the prepared ingredients in, and the ones that are not easy to be cooked can be placed on the bottom layer and arranged in order.
  3. Pour in the sauce you just made, add just enough water to cover the ingredients, cover and cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add in the ramen, turn the heat to a low heat and beat in the eggs, you can eat it when cooked

It only takes a few steps to cook a rich and delicious Korean army pot, which is incredibly simple! But the taste must be good, because it’s all your favorite food!
