Good news! Budget 2021-E-wallet bonus is not only for youths under 20 years old [College students over 20 can also get RM100 e-wallet]

27/11/2020

This year’s budget was released on November 6. In order to encourage a large number of young people to use e-wallet, the government introduced the “eBelia” program in Budget 2021, where all young people under the age of 20 will receive an e-wallet RM50. Many young people over the age of 20 said, “Aren’t we young people?” and “Why can’t young people over 20 who are studying get this e-wallet reward?”. The government seemed to have heard the voice of the people. On November 26, Tengku Zafru, the Minister of Finance of our country, brought good news to everyone, that is, the government decided to allow college students over 20 to also receive this e-wallet reward.

In addition to this good news, Tengku Zafru, the Minister of Finance, also announced that the award amount has been increased from the originally set RM50 to RM100. Both young people under the age of 20 or college students over the age of 20 can receive a one-time RM100 e-wallet reward issued by the government. Everyone is happy about this news, especially college students in the middle of the semester. With this extra aid from the government, college students can use it to purchase network data so that they can study at home and take online lessons.

Everyone who has this e-wallet reward should make good use of it instead of squandering it. Thank the government for granting college students a grant to help them reduce their financial burden.
