Due to a technical issue, MYAirline flight bookings are now available from Dec 2022 to Jan 2023.
MYAirline, Malaysia’s new low-cost carrier, had a rocky start, with no flights available during its first-day sale.
MYAirline has apologised for the issue with its new booking engine, which was caused by unexpected technical glitches and high traffic. The airline has restored its booking engine, but they are only accepting flight reservations for the first two months of operation.
Customers can now book MYAirline flights between December and January 2023. Bookings for the period February to March 2023 will be open next Tuesday, November 29th, 2022.
MYAirline is providing a RM10 voucher for your next booking as a gesture of goodwill.
To summarise, MYAirline will begin commercial passenger service on December 1st, with only three routes: Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu.
MYAirline will operate two daily return flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu and Langkawi, as well as one daily return flight from Kuching.
Toward the end of December, the airline will gradually increase the number of flight frequencies. According to the drop-down menu for destination and arrivals, MYAirline is planning to serve Kota Bharu, Penang, Tawau, and Sibu very soon.
Their website’s online booking engine is currently operational.
A return flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu costs RM300 all-in, which includes taxes, a Nasi Lemak meal, and 15kg of checked luggage allowance for both directions.
