ASM Dividend Payout Ratio (2001-2021)
Amanah Saham Malaysia, or ASM, is a Malaysian trust fund that can be purchased by Chinese investors.
The next dividend from Mutual Fund Malaysia (ASM) will be announced on March 31. Since its founding in 2000, ASM has paid a healthy dividend, but last year’s 4.00 percent payout was a new low.
The largest ASM payout in the last 20 years was 7.80 percent, which occurred in 2008. With a payout ratio of 4.00 percent, 2021 is the year with the lowest payout ratio.
In 2001, 7.80 percent of ASM’s payout ratio was 7.80 percent, 7.00 percent in 2002, 6.60 percent in 2003, 7.00 percent in 2004, and 7.20 percent in 2005. For the next five years, the dividend payout ratio dropped year after year.
The selling price per unit of ASM is RM1.00, and the selling price per unit will not fluctuate with the market. The dividend will be paid out on a monthly basis. You can still earn 1,000 units of interest in April if you invest 1,000 units in April and withdraw 900 units in May.
