On November 10, Digi will officially launch 5G network services.
According to Digi, the 5G network service will be officially launched on November 10, 2022, and users will be able to use the 5G network within the 5G network’s coverage range.
Digi’s 5G network service will first be available to subscribers of Digi Postpaid 90, Digi Postpaid 120, Digi Postpaid 150, and Digi Postpaid Family Unlimited. Digi will continue to provide 5G network services to other users who require them.
To access Digi’s 5G network, you must first obtain a 5G Booster Pass via the MyDigi APP. You can do this by opening the MyDigi APP and selecting BUY ADD-ONS.
Then, find a 5G Speed Booster, and use RM0.00 to claim and enable free 5G network service. The user will receive an SMS from Digi after successfully activating the 5G network service.
You must also ensure that the phone you are using supports 5G networks. Not only that, but the 5G phone you’re using must be MCMC-certified. At the moment, the iPhone cannot connect to Malaysia’s 5G network. You can view a list of mobile phones that support Malaysia’s 5G network by clicking here.
You do not need a new SIM card to use Digi’s 5G network service.
