Digi announced its results for the first quarter of 2022, reporting an increase in download speeds from 38.9Mbps to 42.2Mbps.
According to Digi’s results for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, Digi’s download speeds have increased from 38.9Mbps in the previous quarter to 42.2Mbps in the latest quarter.
Digi also reported a 94% nationwide coverage performance for its 4G LTE network and 76.5% nationwide coverage for 4G LTE-A. Digi’s fiber network covers 10,316 km nationwide.
There are currently 3.34 million Digi Postpaid subscribers. 249,000 more Digi Postpaid subscribers compared to last year and 42,000 more from January to March this year. 6.9 million Digi Prepaid subscribers.
The merger of Digi and Celcom is expected to be completed this year, creating Celcom Digi Berhad, which will be 33.1% owned by Celcom’s parent company, Axiata, and 33.1% by Digi’s parent company, Telenor.
