ASNB has 3 fixed-price funds, namely ASM, ASM 2 Wawasan and ASM 3. All 3 funds have announced their dividend payout details for 2022.
ASM 1 will pay 4 sen per unit in 2022, while ASM 2 Wawasan will pay 3.75 sen per unit. ASM 3 Wawasan will pay out 3.75 sen per unit in 2022.
After more than 2 years of epidemic, ASM, ASM 2 Wawasan and ASM 3 are all paying record low dividends and these funds have lost their aura of high dividends. Many investors are looking for alternative investments with higher payouts.
If you are in the same boat, you can sell/withdraw directly from ASNB branches and banks, but you can also sell/withdraw online through myASNB.
The myASNB online unit sale service requires a minimum of RM100 units per sale, with a maximum of 3 sales or RM2,000 per month. the system operates from 7am to 6pm (fixed price funds) and 7am to 4pm (floating price funds).
No commission will be charged for selling units online. When you sell units, the money will be transferred to your bank account after 1 business day. Users can sell any fund units they hold through this system except ASN Equity 5, ASN Sara 2, ASN Imbang 3 Global and ASN Equity Global.
How to sell fund units online
Step 1: Browse and login to myASNB website.
Step 2: Click on Portfolio, then Transaksi and select Jualan Balik.
Step 3: Enter your bank account details and click on Seterusnya.
Step 4: Check the Terms and Conditions and click on Seterusnya.
Step 5: Enter the amount to be withdrawn and click Seterusnya.
Step 6: Check the details, click Teruskan.
Step 7: Click on Permintaan TAC, then click on Seterusnya.
Step 8: Complete the transaction.
