A 32-year-old guy secretly caught his neighbor’s wife being watched in the shower by his son. The son led the victim’s husband to contact the police after informing the victim of his father’s peeking.
The incident reportedly took place on Monday at a residence in Kampung Serono, Bayan Lepas. The victim of the accident was a woman, age 34. After getting a video of her neighbor’s son acting inappropriately through WhatsApp, the female victim exposed her neighbor’s sexism. According to the video, a man peeked at the female victim having a shower at 8:00 a.m. while he stood on a chair in the bathroom’s back. It is believed that the female victim watched the video and was horrified. She then told her spouse about the incident and reported it to the police.
After receiving the report, the police in Penang Island’s Southwest County verified that the 32-year-old suspect had been taken into police custody. According to the police inquiry, the suspect has repeatedly watched on the female neighbour and is not a first-time offender.
The matter is being looked into by the police under Section 509 of the Penal Code (insulting others), and if found guilty, the offender could face up to five years in prison, a fine, or both.
