Cinema will be reopened tomorrow. Finally you can enter the theater and eat popcorn! Here are 5 movies you can watch in cinema this March~

After waiting for so long, the cinema is finally about to reopen! The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) announced yesterday that all regional cinemas that implement CMCO and RMCO can resume operations as long as they comply with the SOP set by the government. GSC Admin quickly release the list of upcoming movies, let’s see what movies will be on screen this March!

 

01 l Raya and the Last Dragon

The first one is “Raya and the Last Dragon” from Walt Disney! This is the second Southeast Asian Disney Princess in 22 years after “Mulan”. This film is produced by “Moana” producer Osnat Shurer, “Crazy Rich Asians” talented screenwriter Adele Lim, and co-written with the director of “Frozen” and “Big Hero 6”. This film mainly tells story about the lone warrior Raya, who must find the last dragon in order to save the broken fantasy world from the evil forces that came back five hundred years later.

02 l Demon Slayer: Mugen Train

The much-anticipated “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” will be released soon! This movie is adapted from the work of the same name by the Japanese manga artist Kotoharu Wutou, “Demon Slayer”. It mainly describes the story of Tanjiro Kamado and Kyojuro Rengoku with the battle of Enmu. “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” has received well ratings since it was released in Japan and other countries a while ago, and it became the highest-grossing movie in 2020 in Japan after only one week of release.

 

03 l Stand By Me Doraemon 2

“Stand By Me Doraemon 2” is the sequel of the 2014 movie “Stand By Me Doraemon”, based on the short story “Doraemon: A Grandmother’s Recollections“, directed by Ryuichi Yagi and Takashi Yamazaki. This story tells about Nobita asked Doraemon to take him travel back to time with the time machine to meet his grandma because he missed his grandma so much. Then, his grandma wanted to see Nobita’s future bride, so they went on to find her with series of stories triggered by Shizuka’s proposal.

04 l Your Eyes Tell 

“Your Eyes Tell” is a tear-jerking Japanese romance movie starring Ryusei Yokohama, Yuriko Yoshitaka and others. It is adapted from the 2011 movie “Always” starring So Ji-sub and Han Hyo-joo. This movie mainly describes a cheerful character, Akari lost her family and eyesight in an accident; and Rui, a boxer who had a promising future, being closed up due to bad past experiences and has since led a low-key working life. The two met by chance and fell in love with each other. Later when Rui found out that he was related to the cause of Akari’s blindness, he decided to participate in an illegal boxing match to raise surgery fees for her.

It is worth mentioning that BTS also participated in the singing of the OST theme song of this movie.

 

05 l Godzilla VS Kong

“Godzilla VS Kong” is the sequel to the 2017 movie “Kong: Skull Island” and the 2019 movie “Godzilla: King of the Monsters”. It tells the story of King Kong and its protector embarking on a dangerous journey to find their home, together with a little girl named Jia, who had a strong connection with King Kong. On the way, they unexpectedly met the furious Godzilla on a narrow road, and since then triggered a series of bloody storms.
