According to CIMB, 12 CIMB branches will be closed and merged with other branches from 17 October 2022 and 1 CIMB branch will be closed and merged with another CIMB branch from 12 December 2022.
If your CIMB bank account belongs to a CIMB branch that is closing, then your bank account will be transferred to the new branch. The user’s bank account number will remain unchanged and the user will still be able to use CIMB Clicks for banking transactions as normal.
No action is required to transfer the account and CIMB will take care of the entire transfer process. Users will also be able to withdraw and transfer funds at CIMB ATMs throughout Malaysia without any disruption.
