To ease the burden of parents, government provide subsidised child safety seats for B40 low-income families. Successful applicants will be able to visit selected shops to purchase Child Safety Seat at a discounted price.
If the price of the Child Safety Seat purchased is below RM300, then a 50% discount will be offered. If the Child Safety Seat purchased is more than RM300, then the discount is only RM150.
For parents to apply for child safety operations for their adopted child, the adopted child must be registered under JPN.
Applications for the Child Safety Seat Subsidy Scheme (MyCRS) will be open from 1 March to 30 September 2022. Parents interested in applying for the child seat subsidy scheme can visit https://www.mycrs.gov.my/ and click on PERMOHONAN. Then enter personal details such as ID number, name, phone number, address, postcode and state. Parents can check the outcome of their application by clicking on SEMAKAN after 3 working days.
