Celine Dion reveals muscle control loss due to syndrome.

18/01/2024

According to the most recent update, Canadian singer Celine Dion’s health is rapidly declining and she no longer has control over her muscles.

One year after Celine’s sister Claudette disclosed she was afflicted with stiff-person syndrome, the singer of My Heart Will Go On could no longer control certain body movements.

“She is unable to control her muscles,” 7 Jours cited Claudette, according to E! Online. The fact that she has always been in control hurts my heart. Her work has always been intense. “You’re going to do it well, you’re going to do it properly,” our mother would always assure her.

It’s true that returning to the stage is the aim in both of our dreams. To what extent? “I’m not sure,” she uttered.

Celine canceled her Courage World Tour in May because of a rare neurological condition that results in excruciating stiffness and muscle spasms.

The 55-year-old had then posted on Instagram, saying, “I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again.”

“I’m putting a lot of effort into regaining my strength, but even at 100%, touring can be really challenging.

“It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again.”

According to Claudette, their sister Linda has been staying with Celine in Las Vegas while Celine receives treatment from doctors specialising in stiff-person syndrome.
