Boost eWallet also supports DuitNow payments, eliminating the need to enter bank card details!

05/10/2022

Boost eWallet also supports DuitNow, which allows users to transfer money directly from their bank accounts to Boost eWallet.

The DuitNow payment and transfer function has been launched by various domestic e-wallets one after another, and Boost e-wallet is one of the e-wallets that have launched a similar function.

Currently, Boost eWallet only supports cell phone number as DuitNow ID, if your cell phone number is already used as DuitNow ID of other banks or eWallets, you cannot use Boost’s DuitNow collection function.

To set up your own Boost DuitNow ID, you can open the Boost APP, go to Profile, and you will see the DuitNow section. Click into DuitNow to set up your own DuitNow ID.

Once you have set up your DuitNow ID, you can transfer money directly to your Boost Wallet via the Bank App without having to enter your card details in the Boost Wallet. This reduces the risk of disclosing your card details to third parties.

With the popularity of Touch ‘n Go eWallet, many people have stopped using Boost eWallet. But the potential of the Boost eWallet is unlimited, as it is the eWallet platform of the Axiata Group, a consortium with RHB, which has been granted a digital banking license by the National Bank.
