3 residents was rescued from a burning house in JB.
Three people, including a boy, were rescued from their family house in Taman Gembira here before dawn today.
Assistant Fire Superintendent Shamsul Khomari Bakar of the Larkin Fire and Rescue Station said a 19-man team from the Larkin and Tebrau fire stations, as well as the Emergency Medical Rescue Services, were dispatched to the scene after a distress call was received around 5 a.m.
A 70-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy were discovered burned, while a 30-year-old adult woman was injured by glass shrapnel from a broken window.
All three were taken to Sultan Ismail Hospital for treatment. The fire damaged approximately 60% of the house.
