According to the information released by Prime Minister, the second phase of the BKM will start from Monday 27 June 2022 and will continue until 5 July.
A total of 8.6 million people will receive BKM, namely 4 million families with monthly income up to RM5,000, 1.2 million widowed and single elders with monthly income up to RM5,000 and 3.4 million single people with monthly income up to RM2,500.
Due to the large number of beneficiaries, the BKM assistance will be distributed in phases, with the family group receiving the assistance first, followed by the singles. The whole process will take 9 days, from June 27 to July 5.
If you do not receive your payment on June 27, you can wait a little longer. If you do not receive your payment after July 5, you can contact LHDN for more information.
Citizens can also visit https://bkm.hasil.gov.my/ and log in to their MyBKM account to check the status of their remittance.
