BKM subsidy will be open for applications in January. Existing beneficiaries do not need to reapply or update information, and they can automatically enjoy assistance.
The Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia (BKM) is an assistance program that the government will launch in 2022. BKM will replace the existing BPR assistance program. Families with a monthly income of no more than RM5,000 can receive BKM subsidy, and the singles with a monthly income of no more than RM2,500 are also beneficiaries.
The BKM will be open for applications from January 1 to January 31, 2022. The BKM subsidy will be issued in 4 stages, and the first stage will be issued in March.
If you are an existing BPR, BKC, or GKP assistance recipient, you do not need to update the information if the information has not been changed. Eligible persons will be automatically included in the BKM subsidy list.
If you have previously applied for BPR, BKC, or GKP subsidy, but your application is rejected, you will automatically be included in the consideration of BKM subsidy.
As for people who have changed their information or have never applied for BPR, BKC, and GKP subsidies, you can apply from 1st January 2022 to 31st January 2022. The Ministry of Finance will announce the BKM application website at a later date.
