BKM recipients, according to information on the BKM official website, can change their information on the BKM official website. The period runs from October 10, 2022 to October 30, 2022. LHDN has the right to change the opening date at any moment.
Notice! This position is only available to people who have successfully applied for the BKM. Members of the public with relevant information can update their phone numbers, email addresses, bank account information, and beneficiary information.
You only need to change your bank account information if BKM remittance fails; otherwise, you do not need to update your bank account information. In addition to updating information via the BKM official website, the public can update information directly at a nearby LHDN.
The BKM is a government-sponsored assistance programme that aims to ease the financial burdens of low-income people. Singles with a monthly income of up to RM2,500 and families with a monthly income of up to RM5,000 are eligible for assistance under the BKM plan.
The government has distributed BKM in March, June, and September, and the fourth phase of BKM will be distributed in December.
Because the 2023 budget has not yet been authorised by Congress, it is unknown what type of aid will be delivered in 2023. To find out, everyone will have to wait until after the November 19 national elections.
