According to the BKM website, BKM recipients can update their information through the BKM website from September 12 to September 29, 2022, and October 10 to October 30, 2022.
Attention! This opening is limited to those whose BKM applications have been approved and are not under appeal. People can update their phone number, email address, and beneficiary information. Those who have already filed an appeal can update their information from October 10, 2022 onwards.
You need to update your bank account information only if you have failed to remit BKM assistance, but you do not need to update your bank account information otherwise. People can update their information through the BKM website, or they can go to their nearest LHDN to update their information.
The BKM is a government assistance program that aims to reduce the burden of the low-income group. Through the BKM scheme, single persons with a monthly income of up to RM2,500 and families with a monthly income of up to RM5,000 can receive assistance.
With the increasing inflation in the country, the government does not rule out the possibility of increasing the BKM assistance in September. The government will release the third phase of BKM assistance in this September.
