BKM is a government assistance scheme that aims to help reduce the burden of the low-income group. Eligible low-income groups will be eligible to receive the government assistance. Families with a monthly income of up to RM5,000 and single persons with a monthly income of up to RM2,500 are eligible.
Applications for BKM assistance are open from January 1 to January 31, 2022. If you were already a recipient last year, you will automatically be included in the BKM assistance list. As for people whose applications were unsuccessful last year, you will also be automatically included in the BKM review list.
The results of the BKM grant application will be announced in March, and the grant will be distributed in four phases, i.e. March, June, September and December. The family category will be paid in March, June, September and December, while the single category will be paid in March and September.
If you have provided your bank account details, you will receive the payment through your bank. For those who do not provide bank account information, they will need to come to BSN in person or send a representative to receive the payment.
