BKM Assistance will be open for appeal on May 2!
According to the news issued by the Inland Revenue Department (LHDN), the BKM will be open for appeal from May 2, 2022. If you choose to file your appeal online, the appeal period will be from May 2 to June 2, 2022. If you are filing a paper form, the appeal period is from May 9 to June 2, 2022.
There are two types of appeals, those who have lost their BKM application, and those who have received an amount of BKM that does not match their income.
There are two ways for people to appeal: online and at the Inland Revenue. If you choose to appeal online, you can do so by visiting https://bkm.hasil.gov.my/ and logging into your myBKM account starting May 2.
If you choose to file your appeal at your nearest Inland Revenue office, then you can bring the relevant additional documents to the Inland Revenue counter from May 9 onwards.
