Appeals for the BKM Grant will be open on 2 May! Those who have previously been rejected for BKM assistance can appeal.
According to Finance Minister, the government will open appeals for the BKM from 2 May 2022 for a period of 1 month.
There are two ways to appeal against the BKM, namely through the BKM website and by submitting an appeal form at LHDN office.
If you are appealing through the BKM website, the appeal date is from 2 May. For those who choose to visit the LHDN counter, handwritten appeal forms can be submitted from 9 May onwards. Those who are successful in their appeals against BKM assistance will be eligible for BKM assistance in September and December.
The BKM is a government programme that aims to help reduce the burden of the low-income group. Single persons with a monthly income of up to RM2,500 and families with a monthly income of up to RM5,000 are eligible for BKM.
