BigPay will launch a digital personal loan service next week, with applications approved within 5 minutes.
BigPay, the e-wallet of Capital A, the AirAsia Group, will be launching a fully digital personal loan service, the first of its kind in Malaysia.
BigPay will send a monthly reminder to the user to repay the personal loan directly through BigPay.
BigPay will officially announce its digital personal loan service next week.
BigPay was granted a temporary lending license by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) back in November 2020. In addition to BigPay, other companies have also been granted this temporary license, including Axiata Digital Capital, Grabfin Operations, GHL Payments, Presto Credit, JCL Credit Leasing, Fortune Tree Capital, and Hoop Fintech.
BigPay has also submitted its application for a digital banking license in 2021, and the National Bank is expected to announce the names of the five groups that have successfully applied in March.
