Starting from June 27, BKM recipients without bank accounts can get their BKM at the BSN counter.

From June 27 (Monday), BKM recipients who don’t have a bank account can go to the BSN counter to grab the aid in cash!

Beginning on June 27, BKM will be distributed in its second phase. While people without a bank account can also travel to the nearby BSN counter to get the aid, those who have already given a bank account can receive the aid immediately through their bank account.

When you visit the BSN counter to pick up your assistance, you must have your MyKad with you.

The beneficiary can send a representative to collect the aid if they are unable to go to BSN. However, the representative must be the one who was listed as the representative (Wakil) on the aid application and must bring the necessary supporting documentation.

When receiving aid, the representative (Wakil) is required to present four documents:

  1. the beneficiary’s Malaysia Card (original or copy)
  2. the representative’s Malaysia card
  3. the documents establishing the representative’s relationship with the beneficiary
  4. the documents demonstrating the beneficiary’s inability to travel to the BSN in person to receive assistance

Parents can assist their children in receiving assistance by signing the form showing their relationship to the recipient, but they must also bring the child’s birth certificate. By bringing a marriage certificate or a birth certificate for the child, the spouse can also assist recipients in receiving aid. By bringing their birth certificate to BSN, children can assist their parents in receiving support.

Siblings must bring both their own birth certificate and the recipient’s birth certificate if they want to assist the recipient in receiving aid. Grandchildren who assist those in need of assistance must present both their own birth certificate and the birth certificate of their parents.

Next, the representative must bring proof that the beneficiary cannot physically visit the BSN to accept the aid, and if the beneficiary is employed abroad, the employer must provide supporting documentation. Proof of hospitalisation is necessary if the recipient is receiving care there. Presenting proof of the beneficiary’s disability, such as a doctor’s certificate, an illness certificate, etc., is required if the beneficiary with reduced mobility.
