Bank of Hong Leong to adjust savings account and time deposit rates again on December 9
Bank of Hong Leong has adjusted the interest rates of its savings and time deposit accounts after November 5. The new rates are effective as of December 9.
According to the news issued by Hong Leong Bank, the interest rates for savings accounts and time deposits have been reduced slightly by 0.10% from December 9.
The latest interest rate for savings account is 0.00% for the first RM100,000 and 0.20% p.a. for more than RM100,000. The Children’s Savings Account is 1.15%p.a. for the first RM50,000 and 0.00%p.a. for more than RM50,000.
For time deposits, the interest rate is 2.25% for 1 to 2 months, 2.35% for 3 to 5 months, 2.40% for 6 to 11 months and 2.40% for 12 to 60 months.
