Tourism Australia has announced that Australia will reopen its borders to visa holders, tourists, business travellers and tourists from around the world who have completed vaccinations from 21st January 2022!
If visa holders have not completed the vaccination, they need to abide by the local epidemic prevention regulations and quarantine.
Tourism Australia’s general manager for South and Southeast Asia, Brent Anderson, said he hoped Malaysians would fall in love with Australia again!
“Australia has always been a popular destination for Malaysian tourists to travel abroad, with 72 per cent of them making repeat visits to Australia.”
He said Australia was ready with a range of diverse and innovative new experiences to attract Malaysian tourists. For everyone who misses Australia, now is the perfect time to awaken your imagination and curiosity.
In order to make it easier and cheaper for everyone to fly to Australia, Tourism Australia has cooperated with a number of units, including: Apple Vacations, Corporate Information Travel, Forever Travel, Holiday Tours & Travel and Sedunia Travel, which will provide travel from Promotional offer on travel packages from Malaysia to Australia. In addition, Tourism Australia has also partnered with Malaysia Airlines to restart flights to and from Australia in the coming months.
