Attention all unifi Mobile Ultimate Plan subscribers! Those who have signed up for this package will not be able to use the 5G network from March 1.
According to a report by Soyacincau Technology Media, TM unifi Mobile will discontinue the 5G service of unifi Mobile Ultimate Plan from March 1, 2023, which means that subscribers will only be able to access the internet on 4G network and will no longer be able to use 5G service.
If users want to use 5G network services, they need to switch to the UNI5G Postpaid 89 package only. This package offers unlimited internet data (4G+5G), a 10GB Hotspot, and unlimited dial-up. The monthly fee for this package is RM89.
As for the old unifi Mobile Ultimate Plan, you can use up to 60GB of internet data, 10GB hotspots, and unlimited dial-up for RM59 per month.
Simply put, if you continue to use the unifi Mobile Ultimate Plan after March 1, 2023, for RM59 per month, you will only be able to access the internet on 4G networks and not 5G networks. You can upgrade your package to UNI5G Postpaid 89 to enjoy more internet data and access to the 5G network
