Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin announced that Covid-19 vaccine will arrive on February 21 and frontline personnel will be the first to get vaccinated on February 26. However, the “Vaccination Consent” has been circulating on the Internet recently, causing a heated discussion.
Because the “Vaccination Consent” has been circulating wildly on the Internet, netizens are also wondering whether this consent is true or not? A few days ago, the Ministry of Health clarified and denied the “vaccination consent form” spread on the Internet through Facebook, stating: “This is a fake news. The pictures and copywriting are fake. The consent form was not issued by the Ministry of Health, nor is it a consent form for the National COVID-19 Immunization Program!” People are reminded not to believe the unofficial news spread online!
The Prime Minister also announced that after the vaccine arrives, it will be divided into three phases for the people to vaccinate. The first phase will start from February to April, and the frontline personnel will be vaccinated first. The second phase will start from April to August, for people with serious diseases, disabilities, and high-risk individuals over 60 years old. Whereas the third phase will be vaccinated for adults above 18 years old between May 2021 and February 2022.
Please take extra caution on the news you read on the Internet, because many of them are not necessarily true! If there is any latest news about vaccination, the Ministry of Health or the government will notify the public officially as soon as possible, urging everyone to pay more attention to the official news of the Ministry of Health, not to mistaken the false news on the Internet.
