If a child in the family was born between January 2, 2016 and January 1, 2018, parents remember to visit their neighborhood elementary school on March 1 to register their child for first grade in 2023 or 2024.
According to the Ministry of Education, any child born between January 2, 2016 and January 1, 2017 will be enrolled in Primary 1 in 2023. children born between January 2, 2017 and January 1, 2018 will be enrolled in Primary 1 in 2024.
Parents can enroll their children in first grade through the online system at https://public.moe.gov.my/. Parents will need to register for an account before they can enroll their child in first grade. Note! The online system will not be available until March 1, 2022 and application results will be announced in July.
