Attention Maybank customers! Maybank will implement 2 new measures on November 8 and 9 respectively.
1. DuitNow Transfer
According to Maybank, from 8 November 2022, all DuitNow transfers and the addition of new Favourites will require MAE’s Secure2u verification.
This also means that users will no longer be able to verify these transactions above via SMS TAC. This is part of the bank’s efforts to improve financial security and is in line with the National Bank’s initiative to combat financial crime.
2. ASNB
According to the official website of Maybank, users are required to accept the new terms and conditions before they can access their ASNB account details at Maybank2u. This is to confirm that the user agrees to link their ASNB account with their Maybank account.
This measure includes ASNB accounts in your own name as well as ASNB accounts in your children’s names. After accepting the new terms and conditions, users will be able to view their ASNB account information in their Maybank account. This measure will be effective from November 9, 2022.
