Attention Klang residents! People affected by the floods can apply for assistance from RM100 to RM500.
According to a message from Bandar Malang MP Leong Teck Chee, flood victims can apply for assistance from the Klang Land Office. The victims need to fill out the form, submit additional documents and clean up the photos related to the disaster and then submit to Klang District Office.
The documents that the victims need to prepare include filling out the disaster complaint form, a copy of the report, a copy of the reporting person’s Damascus card, a copy of the electricity bill from TNB and a copy of the water bill from Air Selangor, and color photos of the cleaned up home.
Attention! Disaster Complaint Forms are available at Klang District Office. After completing the form, you need to ask the staff to certify it with a stamp. The photos provided for cleaning up furniture are of the house after flooding, not photos of the flooded water.
Once the application is approved, people can receive assistance of up to RM100 to RM500. The amount of assistance will be determined by the authorities according to the situation.
In fact, in addition to flooding, people can also apply for assistance in case of fire or wind damage.
