Attention all PBe App users! SMS PAC will be removed from the second device!

According to the official website of Public Bank, the SMS Personal Authentication Code (SMS PAC) verification method will be removed from all PB engage MY APP second devices, effective December 1, 2022.

Users can continue to approve PB engage MY transactions via PB SecureSign, PB SecureSign (SecurePAC) and SecureSign Token.

Simply put, users can no longer validate transactions via SMS PAC when logging into their PBe account on a second device, but must instead approve transactions via SecureSign, PB SecureSign (SecurePAC), and SecureSign Token on the first device.

The purpose of this measure is to enhance Internet banking security and reduce the risk of deposit theft.
