What should I do if I forget my wallet and credit card when I leave my house? You can use the cardless mode to withdraw money from the bank’s ATM in addition to use your phone’s e-wallet to make purchases at the mall.
Both Hong Leong Bank and Maybank have started supporting cardless cash withdrawals. You can withdraw cash from an automatic teller machine (ATM) without a bank card.
Withdrawals without a card will incur a service fee of roughly RM1.06, and there is a daily withdrawal limit.
Hong Leong Bank Cardless Withdrawal Method
Step 1: Enter the Hong Leong Connect APP to find the ATM Withdrawal function.
Step 2: Select the amount to withdraw, you can choose from RM50 to RM200, etc.
Step 3: You will get a Collection Code.
Step 4: Go to the nearby Hong Leong ATM and enter the Collection Code to withdraw money.
Maybank Cardless Withdrawal Method
Step 1: Log in to Maybank2u.
Step 2: Select Transfers.
Step 3: Select Open Cardless Withdrawal.
Step 4: Fill in the phone number, name, and withdrawal amount.
Step 5: Then you will receive a text message on your phone.
Step 6: There will be a 16-digit to 17-digit number in the SMS.
Step 7: Go to the Maybank ATM.
Step 8: Select Cardless Withdrawal after selecting the language.
Step 9: Select Continue / Teruskan.
Step 10: Enter the 16-digit to 17-digit number in the SMS.
Step 11: After that, the phone will receive another text message with a 6-digit number.
Step 12: Enter the 6-digit number at the ATM.
Step 13: You will be able to withdraw money successfully.
