ASNB quietly launched a new fund, ASN SUKUK, in November last year.
ASN SUKUK will be launched on 25 November 2022 with a settlement year of 30 June each year, ASN SUKUK is suitable for conservative investors and can be held by Malaysian citizens aged 18 years or above.
ASN SUKUK has a starting capital of RM10 with a minimum top-up of RM1 per unit and a 2% sales fee per unit for over-the-counter top-ups and 1% sales fee per unit for online deposits.
The price per unit of ASN SUKUK will fluctuate daily.
ASN SUKUK will invest at least 80% of its assets in Islamic bonds, including government issued bonds, up to 20% in money market instruments that qualify for Islamic trading and up to 20% in unrated Islamic bonds.
