As of yesterday, 14,949 children have been fully vaccinated.

As of yesterday, 14,949 children aged five to eleven years have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine through the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids), a more than double increase from the 6,129 children who had received two doses the day before.

According to the CovidNOW website, 1,348,693 youngsters had received at least one immunisation shot.

A total of 2,853,753 adolescents aged 12 to 17 have received two doses of the vaccine, equating to 91.7 percent, and 2,949,653 have received the first dose, equating to 94.8 percent.

The Covid-19 booster dosage was given to 15,850,917 people, or 67.4% of the adult population; 22,954,771 people, or 97.6%, were fully vaccinated, and 23,230,565 people, or 98.8%, received at least one dose of the vaccine.

A total of 15,708 vaccine doses were given out yesterday, with 2,178 first doses, 9,277 second doses, and 4,253 booster doses, increasing the total number of vaccine doses given out under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 68,991,116.

Meanwhile, 30 deaths related to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, according to the Health Ministry’s GitHub page, with Kedah and Perak having the most cases with seven apiece, followed by Kelantan and Selangor with three each.

Pahang and Penang each had two cases, whereas Johor, Melaka, Negri Sembilan, Sarawak, Terengganu, and Kuala Lumpur each had one.
