Would you be willing to spend about RM140,000 for an electric vehicle?

The massive Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors (GWM) formed a wholly-owned subsidiary called Great Wall Motor Sales Malaysia in Malaysia to formally enter the Malaysian market.

Online sources claim that GWM will launch the Ora Good Cat in Malaysia, and the pre-sale price may start at around RM140,000, making it potentially the least expensive electric vehicle offered in Malaysia. The first brand-new electric vehicles will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2022 and are already available for pre-order.

There are reportedly four tiers of Ora Good Cat, Tech, Pro, Ultra, and Ultra G, with prices ranging from roughly RM140,000 to RM160,000.

The Ora Good Cat is a B-Segment hatchback with a cruising range of 501km, a maximum horsepower of 143PS, and a maximum torque of 210Nm. 18-inch wheels are included with the Ora Good Cat. Ora Good Cat is also equipped with a series of safety and intelligent equipment, such as a 360 panoramic camera, ACC automatic cruise, AEB automatic emergency braking, and LKA lane-keeping assist function.
