According to Maybank, Maybank2u offers a debit card replacement service where customers can apply for a debit card replacement directly through Maybank2u without having to visit the bank in person.
However, it is important to note that when you apply for a debit card replacement through Maybank2u, a renewal fee of RM12 will be automatically deducted. This renewal fee will be refunded to the user’s account within 7 working days.
After applying for a replacement Debit Card through Maybank2u, the new Debit Card will be mailed to the user’s designated address within 9 working days, while overseas users may take up to 30 days to receive their new Debit Card.
According to Maybank’s FAQ, all Maybank Debit Card users can apply for a new Debit Card through Maybank2u, except if the Debit Card is lost, stolen or the PIN is forgotten. However, the Maybank FC Barcelona Visa Debit Card, Maybank Visa Debit Picture Card and Maybank Premier Visa Debit Card cannot be replaced online.
How to apply for a replacement Debit Card through Maybank2u
Step 1: Login to the Maybank2u website.
Step 2: Go to SETTINGS and click on CARDS.
Step 3: Under Manage Debit Cards, select Debit Card – Replace, Activate & Block, and click Replace Card.
Step 4: Follow the instructions to complete the process of replacing the Debit Card.
Once you have received your new Debit Card, you can activate your new Debit Card via Maybank ATM or Maybank2u website, where you can choose to change your PIN or use up your old Debit Card’s PIN.

Step 1: Insert your new Debit Card and select your language and PIN.
Step 2: Select Other Transaction, then Other Services > Next Screen > Card Activation.
