Applications for the Selangor Government’s free medical check-ups will be open from May 16! Eligible persons can apply through the Selangkah APP.
In the 2022 Selangor Budget, the State Government has allocated a total of RM3.4 million to implement the Selangor Health Screening Programme (Program Selangor Saring). This programme will benefit 39,000 people.
The Selangor Health Screening Programme is divided into 3 main groups, namely screening for non-communicable diseases (heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and kidney disease), cancer (rectal, prostate, cervical and breast cancer) and eye related diseases (blindness, glaucoma and retinal disease).
The eligibility criteria for the Selangor Medical Screening Programme include being a Malaysian citizen, being registered as a Selangor voter, and being born or residing in Selangor for more than 10 years.
Interested parties can download the Selangkah APP from Google Play or AppStore and then select the Programme Selangor Saring to register and apply.
Successful applicants will receive a voucher through the Selangkah App, which they can present at selected clinics to receive a free medical check-up.
