Please note! The Application for Internet Devices for Tertiary Students in Malaysia scheme will close on 15 May! Eligible tertiary students should remember to submit their applications before the deadline.
The Government has launched the PerantiSiswa Keluarga Malaysia scheme. This scheme aims to ease the burden of study for tertiary students from low-income families.
Through PerantiSiswa Keluarga Malaysia, tertiary students from low-income families will receive a tablet computer. All students are eligible to apply, regardless of whether they are studying in a government or private tertiary institution. Successful applicants will be notified by email and will receive the tablet in June.
The requirements to apply for a tablet are
1. Malaysian citizens
2. B40 low income families (families with a monthly income of not more than RM4,850)
3. Enrolled in a tertiary or bachelor’s degree programme
4. Non-final year students
5. Enrolled in a full-time course (Full Time)
6. Not enrolled in a government equipment scheme
How to apply for a tablet
Step 1: Visit https://perantisiswa.kkmm.gov.my/ and select Daftar Pengguna.
Step 2: Complete the required information and click on Daftar.
Step 3: Check your email and click on Aktifkan Akaun in the email to activate your account.
Step 4: Login to your account based on the information you have previously registered.
Step 5: Fill in the application form for the tablet.
Step 6: Confirm all details, submit your application and print the application form.
