10/11/2020

Earlier news pointed out that next year Samsung will no longer include AKG wired headsets, instead of wireless headsets. In addition to Samsung, Apple also seems to have this idea.

According to media sources, Apple plans to hold promotional activities next year, and consumers who buy the new iPhone will get a wireless headset. Although Apple did not specify the specific model, the new iPhone is only iPhone 13.

However, this is currently only a network message, which has yet to be officially verified. It is reported that wireless headsets are becoming more and more popular with consumers. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, the growth rates of wireless headset shipments were 118%, 130%, and 183%, respectively, which are in a stage of rapid development. In June of this year, global wireless headset shipments reached 37.72 million units, up 61% year-over-year.

Although Apple wireless earphones have been loved by consumers since their launch, the market share of Apple wireless earphones fell to 35% in the second quarter of this year. In this regard, there are analysts have pointed out that in the face of a fiercely competitive market environment, Apple in order to consolidate their position of wireless headphones, attached to wireless headphones is not impossible.
