Anwar and Muhyiddin are both 75 years old, see how old the previous prime ministers were when they took office and left it

Our 10th Prime Minister is a difficult one! Let’s take a look at the length of time our Prime Ministers have been in office before we have a new one.

Togo Abdul Rahman was our first Prime Minister, who reigned for 13 years and 22 days, and was 54 years old when he took office and 67 years old when he left. Abdul Rasa was our second Prime Minister, who served for 5 years and 114 days, and was 48 years old when he took office and 53 years old when he left.

As for Hussein Onn, he was the third Prime Minister of the country, serving for 5 years and 182 days, aged 53 when he took office and 59 when he left. Mahathir Mohamad was our longest serving Prime Minister, having served for 22 years and 107 days in office, aged 56 when he took office and 78 when he left.

Abdullah was 63 years old when he became our fifth Prime Minister, serving for 5 years and 154 days and leaving office at the age of 69. Najib was 55 when he took office and 64 when he left, having served nine years and 36 days. Mahathir Mohamad was 92 when he took office for the second time and was 94 when he left office, having served for 1 year and 290 days.

Muhyiddin was 72 years old when he took office on March 1, 2020, and 74 years old when he left office as our ninth Prime Minister, having served for 1 year and 173 days. Ishmael is currently our shortest serving Prime Minister, that is, 1 year and 93 days in office, 61 years old when he took office and 62 when he left.

Ishmael Shabbir was also our caretaker prime minister until the tenth prime minister came out. Both Hizbul Mujahideen and Justice Party Chairman Anwar and NLD and Tawang Party Chairman were born in 1947 and are both 75 years old. Anwar’s birthday is August 10, 1947, while Muhyiddin’s birthday is May 15, 1947.
