Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced the introduction of a new e-cash programme named “e-Tunai” in Malaysia. All Malaysian nationals with an annual income of 100,000 ringgit or less will get 100 ringgit under this programme.
He added that this programme will cost one billion ringgit and will assist over ten million people, including the low-income (B40) and middle-income (M40) groups.
Today marked the official introduction of the “Bright Economy: Empowering the People” new economic direction.
