Ambank is offering a fixed deposit offer of 3.20%p.a. on 12-month deposits.
Bank Negara Malaysia (Ambank) has announced a time deposit offer from 18 July to 31 August 2022. When you place a 12-month time deposit offer, you will be entitled to a preferential interest rate of 3.20% p.a.
The minimum deposit amount for this time deposit offer is RM10,000 and it is limited to Fresh Funds only, which must be transferred from other banks via AmOnline online platform via FPX.
To enjoy the 3.20% p.a. preferential interest rate, users must enter the BEST12 promotional code when depositing their fixed deposits.
To place a time deposit through AmOnline, you will first need to log into your AmOnline account, then select Place FD/TD-i, and then enter the BEST12 promotional code. Then you need to choose to deposit a 12-month time deposit, choose the amount to be deposited and choose which bank to transfer it from.
Here is an example of depositing RM10,000, at 3.20% p.a., the interest earned for a full 12 months deposit is RM320, an average of RM26.67 for 1 month.
